My friend Aubrey and I made mochi this afternoon. They’re not the prettiest, but they taste good! We had trouble with the texture, but will try them again. I didn’t have my DSLR with me, so iPhone pics it is. Until then, here’s the recipe and better pictures from Globetrotter Diaries.

Busy busy busy three hours of publicists and media professionals conducting and arranging interviews on the spots for the filmmakers in attendance. I spent majority of my time eating croissants and scones while holding bags of press kits for the publicist I work for and occasionally trying to listen in to interviews.
Frozen custard toppings at Jedd’s. I shamefully did not have any of the frozen custard, but I did try a bit of the affogato. Will have to remember it when we go up there again.
