Quick dinner at Manpuku

by Patricia

Manpuku is fast Japanese comfort food. They serve unfussy, simple dishes, such as donburi (rice bowls) and udon, that can be made quickly, usually within 10 to 15 minutes of ordering – and they’ll hand you your bill at the same time too! Pictured below is their version of the ochazuke ($3.99) using tuna onigiri and genmaicha tea topped with green onions. The food isn’t spectacular, but they’re not pretending to serve you anything more than what is listed on the menu.
