Scarborough Eats: Gourmet Malaysia

A large dining hall with quick service and an extensive menu that was too overwhelming to browse through, Gourmet Malaysia offers a variety of Southeast Asian food from the countries of Borneo (Malaysia and Indonesia) and Singapore. It’s my Indonesian friend’s favourite family spot and she thankfully guided us through the menu that evening. Eaten were yellow noodles in a laksa paste sauce, fried squid very similar to what you will find at Chinese restaurants (but with what I think were crumbled fried onions), and then some ‘boxing’ chicken and grilled chicken with a curry sauce.

And we’re back…

New York was fun! I didn’t take as many pictures as last time, but there’s certainly enough to keep this blog busy for the next few weeks. I’m off to bed now, we literally just stepped out of a 10 hour bus ride.
