It’s that time of the year again: pumpkin spiced lattes, butternut squash everything, cinnamon rolls, apple ciders, and our favourite go-to cold weather food, pho noodle soups! While we usually go to Pho Saigon to get our fix, Pho Dai Nam makes do.
This particular meal was actually from the summer after a bike ride with friends, so fresh rolls and iced jasmine tea it was with a large bowl of noodles to share. Perfect.

There was this one week in June when I went out to eat at Golden Turtle for two dinners in a row. On the second night we unfortunately received some mediocre service…Our one waitress seemed more interested in flirting with the guys at the table next to us and acted as if we were an annoyance to her evening. Well then. The food is good enough though and it is apparently Susur Lee’s favourite pho place in Toronto.

$4.99 worth of warm pho from Ginger on Queen Street West. The best part, other than eating it, was pouring the broth over the noodles and beef.
I decided to drink half of the broth. A mistake. I was dehydrated and had a headache for the rest of the afternoon.
