A year to the day that we embarked, our Homer’s Odyssey into Toronto’s doughnuts continues…
- O -
We first started this little round-up of our favourite doughnut shops when Glory Hole Doughnuts began buzzing with Google query gold. One year later, Toronto still supports more Tim Horton’s than public libraries and Rob Ford remains our mayor, but we do have a brace of new gourmet doughnuts outlets in the city (coincidence?). Since setting up shop in Parkdale, Glory Hole has exacted the standard for fresh and fluffy doughnuts while winning over even more fans with new flavours. Pictured here are regular sellouts the Elvis with Marshmallow (peanut butter icing, banana chips, bacon, nuts, and toasty marshmallow) and the relatively tame but equally knee-melting Chocolate Pistachio.
