Turns out that once you get a slow cooker, making pulled pork is easy peasy. Poaching an egg on the other hand….
Incredibly delicious sandwiches filled with 4 oz of slow roasted pork. Inexpensive. I want more.
I got mine with the truffle sauce, which I unfortunately couldn’t really taste, and the boyfriend got his with roasted tomato sauce. The side of potatoes that we ordered was too oily for my taste and not worth it. I’m not sure how ‘traditional’ porchettas are made or taste it like (the owner said it was his version), but it reminded me of the barbecue pork you get at Chinese restaurants – but much more tastier. Mmmm.
