I use a Canon Rebel XTi with the following lenses: Canon 50mm F1.8 II, Canon 35mm F2, Canon 18-55mm F3.5-5.6(that one came with the kit). I love my rebel, I got it around 2007 or 2008 for $800, so the price has probably dropped considerably and you can probably get the way cooler upgrades for the same price now. If you ever buy a canon camera and want to get a nicer lens with it, I strongly recommend getting the 50mm 1.8…it is sooooooooooo inexpensive and produces great result for the price!
