Our day trip around Napa and Sonoma counties, where we soaked in a whole lotta sunshine under cloudless skies and sampled wine from the Los Carneros viticultural area, producers of very light and crisp Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Leo’s uncle planned this part of the trip for us and specifically picked out Artesa and Domaine Carneros wineries for their architecture. The Brut Rosé sparkling wine from Domaine Carneros, a Cali-French partnership with Tattinger, was my favourite.
A stop at Oxbow Public Market, downtown Napa, for some iced coffees at Ritual Coffee to sober up.
